2009 Gold Award Girl Scouts Recognized
Girl Scout Council of Orange County

The Girl Scout Council of Orange County is honored to recognize Orange County Girl Scouts who demonstrated outstanding leadership ability and personal commitment to community service to earn their Girl Scout Gold Award.
 
The 2009 Gold Award recipients contributed a combined total of nearly 8,000 community service hours addressing such critical issues as hunger, homelessness, disabilities, the environment and education in their communities and beyond. The world is truly a better place because of them.
 
The Gold Award recipients were recognized in the special “Gift of Giving” section of the Orange County Register on Wednesday, November 19, 2009.
