HEALTHY LIVING

Peer pressure, body image, report cards, family dynamics, boys…it can be a lot for a girl to manage, and it can take a toll on her sense of well-being. Every girl needs and deserves to live a happy, healthy life in which she feels comfortable in her own skin, confident in her choices, and capable of fulfilling her dreams. This is at the heart of Girl Scouting’s focus on healthy living. Whether they're working on Girl Scout’s Eat Right, Stay Healthy, or Stress Less programs, or they’re discussing issues of concern with trained leaders and advisors, Girl Scouts are building the skills they need to keep their bodies healthy, their minds engaged, and their spirits alive. Girl Scouts discover ways to achieve balance and live well through healthy living program activities like: Uniquely Me!; Stress Less; Way to Be.
