CAREER PATHS
Girl Scouting puts girls on the path to successful futures by sparking their interest in a variety of career paths and providing resources and role models to help prepare and guide them. Girl Scout Brownies and Juniors can earn the Careers Try-It (patch) or Careers Badge while Girl Scouts 11-17 can explore careers through various interest projects and career exploration events.
The annual cookie sale program, the nation’s leading business and financial literacy program run by and for girls, provides girls with invaluable entrepreneurial experiences and skills. Since many careers require a college education, Girl Scouting provides resources and activities to help middle school and high school girls prepare for college. In addition, Girl Scouting empowers girls to prepare for future career success with invaluable program activities like: Program Aide training, College 101 and How to Deal.
