ARTS
Every girl has infinite possibilities and participation in the arts empowers her to express her thoughts, feelings and ideas creatively. Girl Scout activities in the visual, performing, and language arts encourage girls to explore their talents, trust their instincts, and hone their communication skills. Whether they're painting a landscape, composing a song for a Creative Composing patch, sharpening their storytelling skills, or putting the finishing touches on a sculpture for a Ceramics & Clay badge, Girl Scouts are interpreting the world through their own unique viewpoints. Girl Scouts learn to express themselves in many ways through program activities that introduce them to the arts like: Theater in the Woods; Fitness, Fun & Fashion, Creative Kids Club, Masterpiece Madness, and Plays the Thing.
