THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Spending time in the great outdoors is a time-tested way for Girl Scouts to build new skills, learn more about their community, and broaden their appreciation for nature. Girls become better world citizens and natural resource managers when they learn to appreciate their natural surroundings through programs and activities like Marine Life Project; Earth and Sky; Love a Bug; or Plant Life . If you want to learn about more ways in which Girl Scouts can connect to the great outdoors, also see Save the Planet or Camping.
